Celebrate the harvest season this year by attending the 17th Annual Rocky Mountain OktoberfestPlus event. This event will take place on Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21 at the Ute Pass Cultural Center in Woodland Park. The 17th Annual Rocky Mountain OktoberfestPlus will run from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. both days, and admission will cost $6 for adults and $5 for senior attendees over 62 and for active duty military personnel. Children under 21 can attend the event for free. The Oktoberfest event will include entertainment, music, food, kids’ games, and vendor booths where event attendees can buy a variety of different products.
Events across the Ute Pass Cultural Center
There will be something going on all over the Ute Pass Cultural Center this September 20th and 21st. Inside the Cultural Center there will be hot schnapps and a performance by the Alan Polivka All Star Band on Saturday with German DJ Music early on Sunday. Outside the Cultural Center, event attendees can enjoy Radio London’s Family Elephant on Saturday and both The Key of Joy and the Cari Dell Band on Sunday.
There will be both German foods and classic carnival foods on sale at the OktoberfestPlus event. Stop by for authentic German brats and sauerkraut, BBQ beef brisket, German potato salad, and pork schnitzel, and wash it all down with a hearty German beer. Other foods that will be on sale at the event include dino legs, curly fries, cotton candy, funnel cakes, and more. There will be many different vendors and food sellers to check out.
The Rocky Mountain OktoberfestPlus is a great place for kids, with many different kids games offered around the Cultural Center. These games and activities will include a climbing wall, an 18 foot dual slide, an obstacle course, bounce houses, and balloon art. There will also be a dart game and face painting.
